Honey Avocado Hair Mask with Fresh Eggs

I have tried numerous beauty products for my hair over the years from ones that cost a fortune to the ones that do not but claim to perform miracles.  Over the years, I slowly realized that natural real ingredients that can be found in your refrigerator are simply the best.  Today I wanted to share one of my favorite hair masks.  After moving to Denver where the air is very dry and lacks humidity, I found my hair to lose its shine and become brittle.  This mask saved my hair!  I apply it to my hair once or twice a week.  My hair becomes so silky soft and incredibly shiny after its use.

Honey Avocado Hair Mask with Fresh Eggs

Take 3 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of avocado oil, 1 fresh avocado, couple of eggs (I use 3 since I have very long hair) and blend all of them together.  Apply on your hair for about 20 – 30 minutes, then rinse with cool water.  Make sure water is not too warm as this will scramble eggs in your hair.  Shampoo and style as usual.

All of these ingredients perform miracles on your hair:

Honey: has been used by many civilizations in the past and today for its numerous healing and beauty properties.  It helps attract and retain moisture in hair, smoothing and softening it.  Plus it strengthens hair follicles for healthy grow.

Avocado Oil: contains many nutrients such as vitamins A, B, D, E, protein, amino acids, iron, copper, magnesium, and folic acid which easily get absorbed by your hair.

Fresh Avocado: helps rejuvenate and moisturize the scalp. A rich source of proteins, amino acids and vitamins, avocado helps soothe the scalp and promotes long, strong, healthy hair growth.  Adds shine and luster to dull locks. Heals damaged hair ends.

Fresh Cage Free Organic Eggs:  This is one of my favorite ingredients.  It does wonders for your hair and many times I end up using just eggs by itself for my hair as a shampoo or a conditioner.  Contains nutrients, including B-vitamins, vitamin A, zinc, and protein.  Strengthens hair follicles and roots with protein and lecithin. Hydrates and moisturizes hair cells. Has sulphur and vitamin B12, which increase hair volume.

Say hello to shiny soft and strong hair!
